72 acres of private
Cambridgeshire parkland.
A setting for extended,
exclusive wedding celebrations
Hemingford Park is not currently licensed for legal marriage ceremonies, so the formal registration takes place elsewhere.
However, ceremonies at the estate can follow the same structure and wording as a legal wedding, allowing the celebration itself to feel complete and uninterrupted.
Exclusive use of the estate is at the centre of every celebration.
The estate is reserved entirely for you, with flexibility in how each space is used across your time here.
For larger celebrations, the Pavilion accommodates up to 120 guests for dining, with space for up to 180 guests for the evening.
For smaller, more intimate celebrations, the Hall itself becomes the centre of the occasion — a private country house setting where up to 18 guests can stay and celebrate together, with time also set aside to enjoy the Wellness Centre as part of the experience.
Practical elements — including facilities, parking and on-site support — are all in place, allowing the focus to remain on the experience itself.
Each celebration at Hemingford Park is arranged individually, depending on the time of year and how you choose to use the estate.
As the estate is reserved exclusively for you, pricing reflects the overall experience, including accommodation, use of the spaces and the scale of the celebration.
Please get in touch at enquiries@hemingfordpark.com with a few details of your plans, and we will be pleased to provide availability and a tailored proposal.
Payments are structured in stages, with an initial booking deposit followed by further payments closer to your celebration.
Full details are provided as part of your proposal, and we are always happy to discuss timings to suit your plans.
As each celebration is arranged individually, cancellation terms are set out clearly at the time of booking.
We aim to be fair and transparent, and will always discuss the details with you in advance.
No. Hemingford Park is always reserved exclusively for you.
Only one wedding is held at the estate at any one time, and the Hall, grounds and facilities are entirely your own for the duration of your celebration.
You are welcome to provide your own drinks for your celebration.
As the estate is for private use, there is no requirement to purchase alcohol through the venue, and there is no corkage.
Caterers and bar providers can be brought in to serve drinks if required, allowing the arrangements to be tailored entirely to you.
Hemingford Park offers a flexible, private setting rather than a fixed package.
You are free to bring your own planners, caterers and creative team, allowing your wedding to be shaped entirely around you.
We are always happy to recommend trusted partners or to work alongside your chosen professionals.
Of course. Staying at the estate is a central part of the experience.
The cottages provide additional bedrooms for guests, while the Hall itself offers a more traditional and intimate country house setting.
Some celebrations are arranged without accommodation, but many include the cottages, the Hall, or both, often across one or more nights.
We will always tailor the arrangements to suit your plans.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Hemingford Park.
They may be included as part of your celebration and are permitted within certain cottages (excluding bedrooms) and in the Pavilion.
To preserve the character of the house and the safety of the spa environment, dogs are not permitted within the Hall or the Wellness Centre.
Because of the livestock close by, setting off fireworks or chinese lanterns is not allowed.
The Wellness Centre forms part of the wider experience at Hemingford Park, offering a calm, private space for preparation and relaxation during your time at the estate.
Use of the Wellness Centre can be incorporated into your stay, typically on the day prior to the celebration or the day after, with time set aside for you and your guests to enjoy the facilities together.
The space is designed for smaller groups, with capacity for up to 14 guests at any one time.
For safety and comfort, the spa facilities themselves are not suitable for those under 18 or during pregnancy, although treatments can still be arranged separately.
Hemingford Park is a historic property, and accessibility is unfortunately limited.
The main venue Pavilion space and the Wellness Centre are accessed via stairs and are not suitable for wheelchair access.
However, bedrooms in some cottages and the ground floor of the Main Hall can be made suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
We would always encourage you to speak with us in advance so we can advise on the best possible arrangements.
